Description
The source design “Watery Nova” was drawn and inked in late January 2023. It was color-filled using colored pencil February 1-5, 2023. The first three of four text prompts used for this rendering from the source design are themes related to the poem, “Watery Healing”.
The first version of this haiku was written in February 2023 (shortly after drawing the source design for the artwork). The first version (as well as multiple rewrites) did not feel precise. In October 2024, the final revision did. Staying true to the inner voice is worth every second of time invested.
